Andy, i respect you, (and like you) so please respect this: i am not a developer, but i am someone who is pretty good at identifying and reporting bugs, and i know that if i did so with you, you would be timely in response and would not question the truthfulness of my report. (not saying i'm infallible, but there's ways to put it, and ways not to put it, if you question what someone says is fact) my irritation here is not in the issue itself, i agree its not a major issue, its in how i'm having to push it to even get a response, ANY response, and when i do get one, its curt and lame at best, rude at worst. i even had to fight to not have my bug closed as a dupe!
