Hehe, I'm just glad there is nobody here who wants to run SC with their home Oracle server. ;) Anyway, when I said "not supported" what I should have said was "not supported currently". We have some tight deadlines and we have not put in the effort yet to maintain compatibility with an external MySQL. We'll get to it before release. And if anyone wants to help, please let us know.
