Having copied the old prefs file into the new location and running up, all 
seemed okay, but I noticed the following in the log:

[00:28:04.0019] Slim::Utils::Update::getUpdateInstaller (246) Reading update 
installer path from C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application 
Data\Squeezebox Server\Cache\updates\server.version

So I checked the prefs file and the cachedir had been changed to point to the 
default location.  I edited the cachedir to point to my normal location, and 
now I seem to be okay.


NB. I'm also curious why I also see that line in the log - in Software Update 
settings, I have "Software Updates" and "Automatic download" don't check for 
updates.  Is something still looking for updates periodically?
