Having copied the old prefs file into the new location and running up, all seemed okay, but I noticed the following in the log: [00:28:04.0019] Slim::Utils::Update::getUpdateInstaller (246) Reading update installer path from C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Squeezebox Server\Cache\updates\server.version So I checked the prefs file and the cachedir had been changed to point to the default location. I edited the cachedir to point to my normal location, and now I seem to be okay. NB. I'm also curious why I also see that line in the log - in Software Update settings, I have "Software Updates" and "Automatic download" don't check for updates. Is something still looking for updates periodically? _______________________________________________ beta mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/beta
