I thought I'd try running the noweb-sqlite branch from the perl source code.
I checked out the branch, and ran it with:
P:\Music\SlimServer\SQLite\server\slimserver.pl --prefsdir
"D:\Squeezebox Server\noweb-sqlite\Prefs" --logfile "D:\Squeezebox
Server\noweb-sqlite\Logs\Log.txt"
This exited with the following message:
The following modules failed to load: EV JSON::XS YAML::Syck GD
To download and compile them, please run:
P:/Music/SlimServer/SQLite/server/Bin/build-perl-modules.pl EV JSON::XS
YAML::Syck GD
Exiting..
I tried to run the build perl script, but it said it needed an installed
compiler, etc.
Is that expected? Is it not possible to just checkout and run this branch, or
do I really need to compile stuff to do it?
