I must be in a kvetching mood today. Is it strictly necessary to have the right there in your face on the web UI? It strikes me as being a little tacky. Isn't it enough to keep ©'s ®'r on the settings->information page? I know you guys need to protect your brand and all. But...just glancing at the top of this forum page, It's , and ®. A psychologist would say that you're overcompensating for something. I guess an intellectual property lawyer would say something else.
But take a look at Apple's home page & at iTunes. I would guess that Apple is as aggressive as anyone in terms of securing their brand. Aside from a discrete copyright notice at the bottom of the page, there's nary a or ®. -- gharris999 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ gharris999's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=115 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=65026
