Windows event viewer gives me two types of message: the first has MsiInstaller as its source and says:
Product: Squeezebox Server 7.4-27401 for Windows Home Server -- Error 1920. Service 'Squeezebox Server' (squeezesvc) failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services. The second (which appears 7 times per installation attempt) says: The description for Event ID ( 0 ) in Source ( Application ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. You may be able to use the /AUXSOURCE=flag to retrieve this description; see Help and Support for details. The following information is part of the event: Undefined subroutine &main::initOptions called at slimserver.pl line 51. There's no server.log file at all in the Application Data\Squeezebox Server folder at all - it's an empty folder.
