>Because playlistsdir is associated, usually, with a library. With the >ability to add and remove a (the) library dynamically (and hence also >playlistsdir) we want Favourites to stay put. > Okay, no big deal. Maybe it is more sensible. I back up my music library content separately to my applications/settings, and was keeping playlists and favorites associated with the library content. Now it's associated with the application, so I need to backup prefs with the library data.
>I only changed Favourites. I don't know what my radio stations is. > My Radio Stations is a plugin that is essentially a copy of Favourites plugin, but for storing music stations, which then appears under Internet Radio, where it should be. >Yes, in general swapping back and forth is not recommended. The >migration code in all sorts of areas generally only supports forward >migration. I'll just have to remember to manually copy my favorites from playlists into my prefs dir. I've been testing noweb-sqlite, but it's not stable enough and doesn't support plugins I deem essential yet, so I am swapping between the two frequently.
