Hi,

I've been using the 7.4 beta for a while but just recently noted a
wierd problem when using the controller headphone jack. I've mostly been
using it while moving around in the apartment but this evening I was
practicing my couch potato skills when I noticed that the playback was
stuttering. It's fine as long as the display is active, but when left
alone for a while, the problem occurs again.

So, I logged on the controller and tailed the message log and noticed
that the problem almost always appeared when the following log posts was
written to the log:

<code>
Jul 22 22:43:16 SqueezeboxController user.info jive:
(SqueezeboxJiveApplet.lua:1096) - Set CPU speed 50000
Jul 22 22:43:16 SqueezeboxController user.info jive:
(SqueezeboxJiveApplet.lua:1111) - watchdog timeout 30
Jul 22 22:43:16 SqueezeboxController user.info jive:
(SqueezeboxJiveApplet.lua:752) - Store effect volume 33
</code>

Then, 5 sec later I get the message below in the log, and playback is
back to normal again...

<code>
Jul 22 22:43:31 SqueezeboxController user.info jive:
(SqueezeboxJiveApplet.lua:1096) - Set CPU speed 200000
Jul 22 22:43:31 SqueezeboxController user.info jive:
(SqueezeboxJiveApplet.lua:1111) - watchdog timeout 10
</code>

And 5 sec after that I get the same message as the first and the
stuttering playback is back again:

<code>
Jul 22 22:43:35 SqueezeboxController user.info jive:
(SqueezeboxJiveApplet.lua:1096) - Set CPU speed 50000
Jul 22 22:43:35 SqueezeboxController user.info jive:
(SqueezeboxJiveApplet.lua:1111) - watchdog timeout 30
</code>

This goes on, and on, and on... I'm suspecting that it has someting to
do with cpu throttling/power save but is there any
parameter/configuration file on the controller I could tweak to verify
this?

/koff
