Sometimes it's not possible to stop SC 7.4 on my linux (cc 4.2 ) server. I normaly use "service squeezecenter stop" before an upgrade since a couple of days this does not always work ?
One way reproduce this 100% is by changing a setting that requires restart then you get a popup in the web.UI and SC restart itself after that it's unstopable. I have to use top find the pid and kill that process.
