I've had loads of trouble with the latest 7.4. Some of my larger flac files now crash the scanner. Some 3rd party plugins are broken. There's loads of errors, warnings, etc. Hard to report the actual problems whilst there's so many warnings about deprecated functions, for example. I imagine the issues will get sorted out quickly; I hope so, because I was having trouble trying to revert to the 7.4/trunk before the noweb-sqlite merges! At the moment, the scanner crashes, I identify the file that caused the crash, move it sideways, run a complete clear/scan again, etc. It would be much better if the scanner could just continue after an error, eg. keep a list of the files that could not be scanned. Maybe the scanner could create a "Bad Tracks <date>" playlist with all of the files that failed to scan.
