So its clear that even the most unstable builds are being downloaded by even the most unprepared... in lack of a better word. And it is essentially impossible for a random user to know which stuff works and which does not among the various firmwares, SqueezeServer (including plugins etc), Squeezeplay, and SqueezeNetwork-versions. And like it has been said, people recommend updating all the time, usually because it either a) includes a fix for the worlds most important problem, or b) includes some new worlds most important feature. I don't know how big of a problem it really is, I'm sure Logitech can extract some numbers on that and take appropriate action.
The present way is perhaps not the best though. Take this thread as an example. How many will actually read the warning in the first post? Remember the nighlies gets linked to directly from forums all over the world... -- bhaagensen ------------------------------------------------------------------------ bhaagensen's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=7418 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=66825 _______________________________________________ beta mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/beta
