On Fedora 10: Every time I attempt to restart squeezeboxserver using the extension downloader's 'restart' prompt, subsequent terminal session executions of:
# service squeezeboxserver status ..return: squeezeboxserver dead but subsys locked Attempts to: # service squeezeboxserver stop ..yield: Stopping Squeezebox Server: [FAILED] I'm also seeing the same behavior when the sbs restart is initiated via Slim::Control::Request::executeRequest(undef, ['restartserver']); as I do in SrvrPowerCtrl. I notice, using top, that after such a restart, the SBS process no longer shows up as 'squeezeboxserver' but rather as 'perl'. The only way to regain control of the service seems to be to reboot the server. Do you guys need any more info than this before I file a bug? -- gharris999 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ gharris999's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=115 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=67099 _______________________________________________ beta mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/beta
