It's about time, many have experienced that the battery only last for 1 - 1,5 year. 1 year if it's on all time as mine was.
*the display is aging fast acording to some posts here, so I stopped using it. as a clock when in the cradle. I use blank screen quite a lot nowadays, before i had to show the album art when cradled. I wonder what quality of screen they have choosed for the Touch ? *The battery, I'm starting turn it off when not used I assume it will save battery to not have the SBC running 24/7 . The must be some poor hardware choices here, as the duet is a hifi product I would expect it to work for a decade at a minimum, like the CD player it's replacing. With current battery lifetime combined with the shockingly high price on the same battery, you will be buying batteries for more money than the SBC's initial cost.
