Maybe is just me, but the only reason I visit SN is to interact with the player and view the info of the currently playing track. In this new design the Remote Control "appear" to be an after-thought. If I try to open it directly in the browser in full screen via http://www.test.squeezenetwork.com/player/playerControl the resulting layout in full screen is not very pretty. I'd have preferred something similar to the Slacker Web Player http://www.slacker.com/ As it currently stands the Player UI is a bit too simplistic and leaves a lot to be desired. Probably because is not finished yet.
I know that the SN Home Page is there to advertise the availability of partner's services, but as a current client once I add the Apps and customize the settings per player (a rare event I hope) what's the incentive for me to visit the SN Home Page?...
