I have a feeling that you still change a lot to the way how the UI is
working.
Does it make sense to open bug-reports against the UI or is it still
wise to just wait what is about to come ?
Here is a little list of the most annoying issues I currently have
(FW7433) on the controller:
- pressing 'play' on internetradio makes this start instantly.
pressing 'play' on an album gets the song-list of the album
pressing 'play' on a song just adds it to the playlist
This is heavily inconsistent, I'd prefer 'play' to always start the
selected item instantly (or as a/my second choice always put it in the
playlist).
- playing an album is heavily complicated now. If a select a song in
a album then press 'forward' I'd expect to skip to the next song of
the album (like I'm used from a CD-player). Instead the playlist is
restarted (if there are no new items) which always confuses me.
I realize that I can use the 'plus'-button on an album to get a popup
where I can select to play the whole album. This is very cumbersome
:(
I found the 7.3 way much more intuitive (i.e. pressing play on an
album just starts it)
- play internet radio, go to a song of the local library, then press
play so the song is added to playlist.
How does one skip to the song selected ?
Pressing 'forward' somehow just restarts buffering of the
internet-radio ? Only a second press on 'forward' switches to the
selected song.
- Some Popups currently don't wrap the text es needed. For instance
putting a song to the playlist give 'nd als nächste spie'. Guess this
should mean 'und als nächstes spielt'. I know you wan't to get out the
radio with a different screen-resolution, but please don't forget that
the same firmware is used on the controller as well.
Please tell me, if its better to directly open bug reports or if such
stuff should be posted here in the forum for you to decide whether its
worth a bug-report.
