Thanks for being so understanding and diplomatic. Seeing that we're actual human beings, and not just some faceless corporation, we really appreciate that. ;) One thing I should point out to you guys: - For the first several weeks after launch, the majority of site visitors will be A) first-time Squeezebox owners who know nothing about our system other than what's on the box or in the Quick Start Guide (assuming they read it). A fair amount of education needs to be done regarding "Apps," and yes we're proud of them, and yes they are displayed pretty prominently on the home page. B) (NON-BETA TESTER) existing users who will suddenly wake up one morning and see a brand-new menu structure on their Squeezebox, with little or no explanation as to what the heck is going on (we are telling users there has been a "major upgrade" and to visit squeezenetwork.com. SN.com will redirect to a "what's new" page before sending them along to this new home page). So in both cases, the new home page is sort of the introduction to our "new" system and what the deal is with apps. Unlike you guys, most of these users will have no idea the range of things we now offer. ------------ The website won't stay this way forever. We'll get through xmas season, the traffic/sales will die down a bit, and most people will be familiar with the new system. At that point we'll definitely tone down, alter or even remove the bug "hero" area at the top of the home page.
