Hi,

I upgraded from SC 7.3.3 to SBS 7.4.0-28505 on my ReadyNAS NV+ a few
weeks ago, and everything looked fine, until I rebooted my NV+.
After reboot, I was left with Internet radios only, no more access to
my local music collection.
Upgrading to a newer release (tried with 7.4.0-28563) didn't cure the
problem.

I looked at the server.log file and saw 2 SBS instances were fighting
with each other, one permanently starting/dying, and the other one
looking like it was not able to establish a connection to the MySQL
database.
I found the problem could be caused by the
/etc/rc3.d/S20squeezeboxserver file, and renamed it so that it wouldn't
be launched at system startup (since SBS is also started through its
Frontview plugin init script), and rebooted the NV+.
Everything looks nice so far.

I don't know where this RC file came from.
Maybe from a previous beta, because when I upgraded to 7.4.0-28637 this
morning, it didn't come back.

Just wanted to let you know this RC file could potentially prevent SBS
from running correctly on this platform...

Seb
