Yeah, all of the same problems exist in the latest build for Windows. 
To connect to your library:

1. Select Settings > Choose Player > some other player
2. Select Settings > Choose Player > your Squeezeplay player
3. Select My Music and it should connect immediately

Another big problem is that none of the customization settings will be
saved.  If you want to customize the Home menu (for instance, to put
'Choose Player' on the menu, because you're going to use it a lot) then
customize the menu, quit SqueezePlay, and go to the folder

\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application
Data\SqueezePlay\userpath\settings

delete 'CustomizeHomeMenu.lua' and rename 'CustomizeHomeMenu.lua.new'
to 'CustomizeHomeMenuMenuu.lua'.

Other settings are saved in other .lua files in the same folder and the
.new files are not properly overwriting them, so delete and rename the
other files as necessary.
