That only works with internet steamed music - radio stations, last.fm channels,
etc. For local music, there's no point synchronising to MySqueezebox.com - you
can't play the music there without the music library source being on-line, so
you may as well connect to it to play the music from that source.

And that's the issue - there can be more than one music library source. eg.
with Touch, there will be a TinySC, so there could be a USB stick with music on
it connected directly to the player, and maybe favorites stored on that local
source.

What if a household has several Touch players? Where do the favorites actually
get synched?

i.e. it's not just MySqueezebox.com and a local music source that would need to
be synched.

I don't store my internet radio stations in Favorites - I edit them in an OPML
file via the OPML editor, and load them into My Radio Stations plugin, so I can
access them within Internet Radio menu. It's more intuitive to find radio
stations under Internet Radio > My Radio Stations. So these won't be synched
anyway.

I don't see much point in using MySqueezebox.com; just another piece of kit in
the pathway that can cause a failure for playing music in my house.

The point of SqueezeNetwork was to act as a server because classic players were
dumb. With the new players, they have CPU and storage, so they don't need
MySqueezebox.com to be able to play internet radio - can all be done on the
devices.
