It has been around longer than that. I think it showed up in one of the 7.3 controller updates. I don't know what service it uses, but it pulls up a list of all the contributors on the recording including performers, producers, art direction, liner notes, etc. It does work for me with iPeng 1.2. I think it spins when whatever service it uses does not return a result. Keep trying another album and you'll find one that works. For my collection, it works much more often than not.
