Found out some more and added it to the bug https://bugs.slimdevices.com/show_bug.cgi?id=14198
1. if You change the ID3-tags of an EXISTING file (eg add an "Artist Album"/Band Tag) at the same time You add the Folder.jpg - scanner sees this as "new file" and adds album art (doesn't work with all tags and doesn't work add all if You only save the same tags as before to create a new timestamp) 2. (at least in SOME cases): if the standard symbol is shown and You click on it, the album art (Folder.jpg) opens in a new window. but if You hit "refresh" on the album site, the standard symbol is shown once agein and further on... Maybe this helps?
