This will always keep the Now Playling playlist pretty short since you for example can limit i to contain the 10 last tracks and the next 10 tracks to come. So if the limitation is only the Now Playing playlist this might be a solution.
To use this you just launch the playlist from the "Dynamic Playlists" menu instead of "Playlists". If you like more configurability, you can also install the "SQL Playlist" plugin and create a new playlist based on the "Random playlist songs" template and select the static playlist you like to base the SQL Playlist playlist on. -- erland Erland Isaksson 'My homepage' (http://erland.isaksson.info) (Install my plugins through Extension Downloader) (Developer of 'TrackStat, SQLPlayList, DynamicPlayList, Custom Browse, Custom Scan, Custom Skip, Multi Library, Title Switcher and Database Query plugins' (http://wiki.erland.isaksson.info/index.php/Category:SlimServer)) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ erland's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3124 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=71506 _______________________________________________ beta mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/beta
