I am using 7.4.2 In recent weeks some music scanning problems have been attributed to AV software. Indeed, I had a problem with Microsoft's Security Essentials. I could not get a scan to complete. Changed to AVG and everything was fine. Added the .myi and .myd exceptions for safe measure.
Now today the music scan fails again giving the same error. I have not made any changes to my system except trying out Bliss. No added security software. After changing from MSE to AVG I have run over a dozen music scans without an error.
