I just built a mini itx box with a J&W 780G Minix mobo and BE2350 cpu, 500Gb 2 1/2 C: drive, music on 1Tb and 1.5Tb Samsung EcoGreen 5400rpm drives. XP SP3. MusicIP. Library approx 97,000 tracks. Draws 45 watts during a scan. Thought I'd burn it in with 7.5 and record scan details.
1. Squeezecentre 7.3.4 loaded and a clear and rescan run. Uninstalled, including logs and cache. 2. SBS 7.5 loaded, clear and rescan run. Uninstalled, including logs and cache. 3. SBS 7.5 embedded loaded, clear and rescan run. SQ Scan is a zip file of cut and paste's of the info screen of the scan times etc. and shows timings. scanner is a zip file of the 7.5 embedded scanner.log file. Observations : 7.5 launches a scan before the user has told it where the music files are, Control Panel wouldn't open in 7.5 embedded (didn't try in 7.5) but the web opens. Scanning info in 7.5 embedded is a bit sparse. Now that the scan appears to have found my music I'll attach a boom and have a look at the web gui. +-------------------------------------------------------------------+ |Filename: scanner.zip | |Download: http://forums.slimdevices.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=8777| +-------------------------------------------------------------------+ -- Wirrunna A camel is a racehorse designed by a committee. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Wirrunna's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3225 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=71768 _______________________________________________ beta mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/beta
