A word of warning. Just discovered this.
I moved back to the "main" 7.5.0 branch from the embedded branch
because I could not get current embedded builds to scan and run
correctly under ubuntu right now (scanning breaks off after a few new
tracks and the server crashes once I try to open track info on such a
track; also, lots of manual starting and stopping was involved to make
it run at all). But this is just background.
Main issue is if you keep your preferences, 7.5.0 main will not start
if the 7.5.0 embedded was on SQLite.
Since you can't start it, you can't change the db setting.
So what you have to do is to manually remove the line

or similar from server.prefs
Just in case somebody else runs into this. Might also be worth a fix...
