Yes, Vortexbox looks promising.

However, the problem for mass market users is that they may not want to
add another $400 to the price by getting a Vortexbox Appliance. Setting
up an extra PC might work for some people but everyone aren't going to
want a extra PC just to be able to rip the CD's. A solution where their
standard PC or laptop could be used would be so much better.
