Which is which? Germans believe in convergence. Germans always love complexity and integration. They also believe in complex multimedia standards, ISDN and things like that. A friend of mine is trying to build his perfect media center with a large, integrated touch screen (cupboard mounted, 10" or so) for two years now. Includes VCR and everything. Doesn't work, yet, but for the fun of it... It's just: it all doesn't make sense and while there may be a wave of products that help introducing the basic technology in the market place, finally, that will go away and more simple, dedicated devices will follow. Simply because they are better. -- pippin --- see iPeng, the Squeezebox iPhone remote, at penguinlovesmusic.com ------------------------------------------------------------------------ pippin's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=13777 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=72512 _______________________________________________ beta mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/beta
