I am using nightly builds (updating only irregularily) of the embedded
branch on a Sheevaplug.

First of all: NICE work! Since I started using the embedded branch
(with SQLite as backend) the performance, especially when browsing in
iPeng and Web Interface, has significantly improved! A really
astonishing step forward was the latest switch I did to rev 29727 after
which the iPeng browsing experience on the iPod Touch is literally
instantanous.

One little thing I encountered today: I cleaned up some bad special
characters in the genre tags of only one album that lead to that genre
being picked up twice. After doing so the auto rescan was correctly
initiated and the album's tags were correctly recognized, so it is now
reported in the first/"correct" appearance of that genre when browsing
the collection. But I noticed that the "bad" duplicate genre still shows
up in the genre list, although when you enter it it contains no
artists/albums/tracks.

Is only a minor issue for me currently but might be bad for the general
auto rescan functionality especially when people are often revising
their tags and/or this happens also on other tags.

I was not able (maybe it's already too late today) to find a similar
report/bug in forum and bugzilla, maybe because I was focussing on genre
as the critical tag. Please tell me when you need a bug report or
additional information.

Keep up the good work!

Cheers,
Seb
