AFAICT, no magic flag on command line, but bare settings in
server.prefs:
Code:
--------------------
audiodir: /media/sda1
librarycachedir: /media/sda1/.Squeezebox/cache
--------------------
It shouldn't be hard to add a flag that would tie audiodir and
librarycachedir together.
However, since the database uses absolute pathnames to reference files
(music, covers, ...), it wouldn't work if on some machine your music
drive is mapped as 'E:', and on another one it's mapped as 'H:'.
You'd probably argue that by using relative pathnames references, with
audiodir as the base directory, it would work.
I'd probably argue that it would indeed work if you move your drive
from a Windows machine to another Windows machine, or if I move my drive
from my Mac to my Linux machine (since they're both UNIX-like systems),
but I couldn't bring my disk and simply plug in on your Windows machine,
and vice-versa.
I'm not sure it would be worth the effort...
