Chris Owens requested us to try 7.4.2. So on an XP SP3 test box I
uninstalled 7.3.4 and deleted the cache, then installed 7.4.2 - r29963 @
Mon Feb 1, set the music library and initiated a clear and rescan which
resulted in "Music scan terminated unexpectedly (Artwork Scan)
Total Time: 05:34:42 (Tuesday, February 2, 2010 / 3:53 PM)"
Scanner log last entry
[10-02-02 12:28:15.3363] Slim::Music::Import::runScanPostProcessing
(438) Starting artwork scan
[10-02-02 13:11:23.5135] Slim::Web::Graphics::processCoverArtRequest
(262) Error: Unable to resize music/86307/cover_100x100_o: Can't resize
unknown type, magic: "\0\0\rIHDR\0"

The error message does not give me enough clues to determine which
artwork is a problem (7.3.4 scans OK). I know that a lot of work is
being done on the 7.5 scanner, I hope that the error reporting is
enhanced to that of the directory scan which now gives filename details
of any error so allowing the user to fix the offending track.
Any suggestions on how to determine the offending artwork ?
