It's still on the Touch. > Just tried to start a scan for new/changed files from my Transporter player.
Having started the scan, the player screen reported that it was scanning. I moved away from the progress display, to play some music. When I tried to go back into Rescan menu, it showed that a scan was in progress, but I couldn't see the progress. Settings > Information > Library turned into Settings > Information > Rescanning Music Library. When I right-arrowed into this, it says "Rescanning Music Library" again, and then I can't do anything other than Back out. Once the scan was over, I could go into the Previous Scan Results and see the number of files scanned, how long each step took, etc. But not during the scan. I was just going to post a bug on it, but I decided to try again to make sure I had the right information logged. However, second time it worked fine. Now every time I start the scan, I can go into menu option 5 in the Rescan page, and see the current scan progress. If I go out of the menu, when I try to go back into Settings > Rescan, I go straight to the display of current scan progress. Fine - just as I remember the functionality being. I tried restarting SBS and doing a new/changed scan again, in case it doesn't work first time. eg. I thought that maybe the option number 5 on the Rescan menu to view previous scan results isn't available until the first time a rescan has completed, and maybe this prevents the current scan progress from not working until second scan attempt, but that doesn't seem to be the case. So, not sure under what circumstances it doesn't work, but I've seen it not work twice now. I guess it's not worth raising a bug unless I can find a repeatable case. _______________________________________________ beta mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/beta
