Oh, and doing away with that "completely on RAMDisk" could actually help as well. RAMDisks were for the 80s when there was no decent memory management. These days, the more you let your system do with the memory what it wants, the better it will perform. If you run something from a RAM disk, you take away RAM for the actual application so the system will swap more. With an application being a memory hog like SBS with Custom Browse is, that will probably result in a measurable performance hit.
