Hi,

I installed 7.5 embedded to my ReadyNas NV+. Server details as below:

Version: 7.5.0 - r30196 @ Thu Feb 18 02:03:58 PST 2010
Hostname: nas-01-85-E2
Server IP Address: 192.168.1.17
Server HTTP Port Number: 9000
Operating system: Netgear RAIDiator - EN - utf8
Platform Architecture: sparc-linux
Perl Version: 5.8.8 - sparc-linux
Database Version: DBD::SQLite 1.29 (sqlite 3.6.22)
Total Players Recognized: 0

The NAS has 1 GB of RAM.

When I attempt to rescan my music library (about 30000 tracks) I see
the following error in the server.log:

[10-02-23 20:44:07.7677] Slim::Utils::Scanner::Local::rescan (135)
Discovering files in /media/Music/slim_root
[10-02-23 20:44:59.1988] Slim::Control::Request::execute (1946) Error:
While trying to run function coderef
[Slim::Control::Commands::rescanCommand]: [Out of memory during "large"
request for 134221824 bytes, total sbrk() is 401874944 bytes at
/usr/share/perl5/Slim/Utils/Progress.pm line 153.
]

Has anybody seen this before?

Is there a way to increase the total amount of memory allocated to the
server process?

Thanks,
James.
