File yet another bug I'll vote. A full scan probably fix this, so just pile up the changes and let it go overnight.
Embedded artwork is probably the most common case in mp3's due to how the kidz mix and match tunes on their pods. FLAC ? older version did not support embedding, milage will vary according to when you ripped. There is very little reason to not embedd artwork now when FLAC supports it. I use both folder.jpg and embedding. 1. I get the covers even if pile a bunch of files on a USB stick and goes to a friend with them. Imho the image is a property of the file not the directory a single file should work on it's own. 2. To defeat the *cough* historically buggy implementation of artwork in new&changed. with both methods used it consistently find artwork for all my new music .
