I just got the Boom and it seems to have a similar problem with Internet radio.
When I listen to the same station again (after the unit was turned off and on) the Now Playing display shows the name of the previous show rather than the current one. For example, yesterday I was listening to Wait, Wait Don't Tell Me on WNYC-FM. When I turned the Boom on today, Now Playing still says "Wait, Wait Don't Tell Me" although the current show is Studio 360.
