You were right. There was an artistsort tag left on one track that I had missed! But that was new to me that it takes only one track to change the sort order of all the albums of the artist in question. My database contains almost 3000 albums and when I started collecting it I didn't know there exists an artistsort tag. So I got all the artists sorted by the firstname and to fix it now by retagging feels too big a job.
