Hi, I've been running the daily builds from the 7.5 for quite a long time with good success. I looked around in these forums and noticed that the embedded branch is the one that's going to survive to the future and decided to move to that.
Installation went fine but I wanted to change the database to MySQL since I've got a large library (>150000 tracks). I have a MySQL server running on my computer and I have been using that for Squeezebox too. Normal full scan takes on non-embedded version around 2.5 to 3 hours. With this embedded version I stopped the scan after about 9 hours it had then scanned little over 50000 tracks. I changed the database back to SQLite and now the scan time is in the same league as previously in non-embedded version with MySQL. Is there some serious problems with the embedded version with MySQL?
