Hey, I have a Qnap TS-209 that is running Debian Squeeze. I have a Squeezebox v3 classic and a Duet. The stable and minor nightly builds on the 7.4.x branch seem fine but when I goto 7.5 or now 7.6 my Duet Controller stops functioning correctly. This is 7.5 builds from a long way back to the current 7.6 build. Basically I have: 1)download http://downloads.slimdevices.com/nightly/7.6/sc/30465/squeezeboxserver_7.6.0~30465_all.deb 2)install via dpkg -i ./squeezeboxserver_7.6.0~30465_all.deb 3)update the controller to the latest jive firmware eg 7.5.0. 4)on the controller if I pick anything that causes the controller to log into mysqueezebox.com, eg podcast app or favourites or whatever. It will say that it is connecting to mysqueezebox.com but it will fail to connect after a timeout After this if I try to reconnect to the local SqueezeServer it will also timeout and fail. The controller is fully functional except it can not connect to the local server or mysqueezebox.com
Also my controller will not auto find the firmware update, eg with SqueezeServer 7.6 installed and going to the controllers manual software update menu item it will say 7.4.1 r7915 is the current software and only to reinstall that. I had to manaully install 7.5.0 r8672 via SD card. Even when running it still wants to reinstall 7.4.1 r7915. The only way out of this is to revert the controller to 7.4.1 r7915 and the controller will function correctly and log into the server and mysqueezebox.com fine. Any ideas? :) -- bits ------------------------------------------------------------------------ bits's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=13375 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=76723 _______________________________________________ beta mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/beta
