The last bit of 'bug 8705' (http://bugs.slimdevices.com/show_bug.cgi?id=8705): The browser fails to remember the playlist panel width for more than a few days. I see this often, as I have a number of SbS servers configured and don't visit each one regularly. In Firefox it's easy to examine browser cookies and plainly see the expiration dates of each one. Go to
Tools > Options... > Privacy > remove individual cookies and find your server by IP address. If you delete all of the Squeezebox web UI cookies for a server and then reopen the web interface and configure it to your liking, you'll see the new cookies created. What I see is that each cookie is given an expiration date exactly 1 year from the current date, _except_ for the panel width cookie, which is dated just 1 week in the future. Which explains the problem. Maybe not important, but I also note that the name given to this cookie is unusual, 'ysSqueezebox-panelWidth', while all the other cookie names begin with only 'Squeezebox-'. -- JJZolx Jim ------------------------------------------------------------------------ JJZolx's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=10 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=76786 _______________________________________________ beta mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/beta
