Nothing can stop the fallback alarm but manual user interaction. When the fallback started, the server is distrusted, so the timeout from the server is ignored. You should file an enhancement request, that a fallback alarm also stops after some arbitrary time (the radio could synchronize the timeout at times when the server is still trusted - this for instance is already done for snooze-times). This problem can be reproduced by everyone.
