while a seperate name for a SBS installation with transcoding and/or
webcontrol might make sense to us nerds in here, I doubt that it makes
sense to the average user.

Let's say even more options for optimizations are added, would you then
make up new names for every combination of enabled/disabled options?

Just call it SBS (Squeezebox Server) and the user has the options to
trim the functionality to match his hardware - simple as that.
