There are also some scanning progress reporting problems that are unrelated to the other web interface issues. That may be what you're seeing. The progress reporting in the web interface is pretty screwed up, but the scans should be progressing and completing normally. Hopefully the progress reporting can also be fixed soon, or many people running 7.6 are going to be confused. See 'bug 15681' (http://bugs.slimdevices.com/show_bug.cgi?id=15681) and 'bug 15882' (http://bugs.slimdevices.com/show_bug.cgi?id=15682), which probably don't catch all the problems. In 7.6 a 'new & changed' scan is done by the server, not by the separate standalone scanner, as with 7.5 and earlier.
