Hi. As part of my (limited!) "help" with bug 16025 I tried installed 7.6.0 r30539 'over the top' (i.e. no uninstallation first) of 7.5.0 r30464.
Once installation was complete I clicked full clear and rescan; checking the logs later I found all manner of unscannable files in scanner.log. I've attached it. These files are ok as far as I can see: they play ok in iTunes, and I don't recall having a problem scanning, browsing or playing these files before in previous SBS releases. In all cases, according to the log, they're apple lossless. To check, I set-up a fresh iTunes library and added exactly the same files to it: iTunes found about 300 files more (sorry, not got exact number). My library is 34,763 files mostly apple lossless but big chunks of mp3 and .m4a aac files.
