i think its prob somewhat different on windows, b/c i think mysql is included in the windows SBS download. if you download a SQLite ver of SBS, i would think it wouldn't include the MYSQL part, so assuming thats true, what happens when you switch the setting in SBS?
one thing i've noticed about the MYSQL btw, (on windows) is that it starts without starting SBS, and it doesn't stop/exit when closing SBS or slimtray. this was an issue i thought had been fixed, seems like its back. i'm looking forward to SQLite and i hope 40k+ isn't "large" in terms of how well it does vs MYSQL. -- MrSinatra www.lion-radio.org using: sb2 & sbc (my home) / sbr (parent's home) - sbs 7.5b - win xp pro sp3 ie8 - p4(ht) 3.2ghz / 2gig ram - 1tb wd usb2 raid1 - d-link dir-655 - 40k+ mp3 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ MrSinatra's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2336 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=77215 _______________________________________________ beta mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/beta
