Works for me. (Version: 7.6.0 - r30653, WinXP SP3) Total Tracks: 99,025, Total Albums: 8,258, Total Artists: 3,295, Total Genres: 318 Just installed this version, cleared cache and did a scan. Playlists are there. Browsed for an album, picked a track, pressed M for Music Magic Mix, named the mix and saved it. Checked C:\Documents and Settings\Johno\My Documents\My Music\Playlists and the new playlist was there. Did an 'Only Rescan Playlists'

The playlist appears under Home>Playlists and is playing.
