I just realized that I was mistaken about the Touch... It _is_ playing music, but apparently it's unaware of the fact. The Now Playing screen doesn't update and it just bumps when I try to bring up Now Playing. Under Diagnostics it still displays the IP address of the previous server that it was connected to. The ip3k players' displays are updated correctly while playing.
