I think this bug could be related to the reason that I *WANT* to switch to 7.6 (and I did - so far, working good). There was a bug in 7.5 that messed up synced playing of NPR stations w/ borked header sound files, and the fix was checked into 7.6, and not 7.5.1. Since it was a fix for Squeezeplay players in the sync group, it could be related.
