Have you cleared out the SBS Cache directory and also the Browser cache ? 7.6 has a lot of changes compared to 7.5 (e.g. SQLite and art work caching changes) and it is not released so no work has probably been done to make sure upgrading over 7.5 is guaranteed to work.
