You do know that New Music is based on the modification times of the files, right? So if the files have old modification dates/times then they'll be found well down in the list of New Music (or not at all if you have New Music limited to some number of albums). I always set my New Music limit to 1000000 so that all albums show up, back to the first album in my library. Not so useful in the remote interface, but in the web interface it gives me an interesting chronological order of all albums added to my library.
