I'm guessing some people will scream at me now but I still have to ask,
is there any point keeping MySQL if it isn't an officially supported
solution verified by QA ?
IMHO, the development time spent on unsupported MySQL support could be
spent on some other more useful feature, if it isn't officially
supported we all know that it's just a matter of time until it stops
working and the bugs related to it doesn't get priority because of
other bugs in other officially supported functionality.
Is there a reason to keep MySQL besides that some people are used to it
?
Are we afraid that SQLite won't work in larger libraries or is there
something else that makes us want to keep MySQL ?
I know MySQL has advantages over SQLite, it just feels like wasted time
to have both when development resources are limited.
